SUPIMA® cotton is a registered trademark of the American Supima Association, referring to premium Pima (Superior Pima) cotton with a fiber length of 35 mm or longer. While standard cotton fibers average around 24 mm, SUPIMA® cotton exclusively uses the highest grade of fibers measuring 35 mm or more, known as "extra-long staple cotton." Its production accounts for a mere 1.5% to 2% of the world's total cotton yield, placing it at the absolute pinnacle of quality.

Only family-owned farms (approximately 500 farms) that are members of the Supima Association are permitted to cultivate SUPIMA® cotton. This exclusivity allows cultivation techniques to be passed down through generations, ensuring the continuous production of high-quality cotton.
However, without stable purchasing, these farmers would not be able to sustain their businesses. At Imabari Yokkin, we aim to preserve this premium cotton culture through consistent and stable procurement, weaving the passion and dedication of the farmers into every thread.
